Cortisol is your body’s main stress hormone. It works with certain parts of your brain to control your mood, motivation, and fear.
I was listening to an article about Cortisol and they gave symptoms that are particular to increased levels of Cortisol in your body;
- increase of body fat, especially around the middle
- tunnel vision
- poor decision making
- increased heart rate
- increased stress and anxiety
This seemed to fit me, so I was wondering, could my Cortisol Levels be abnormal?
I know that listening to things and checking up on your symptoms can lead to undue concern, but this was something I had not heard about before, so got me interested.. that’s ok, isn’t it?
